Employer Responsibilities

When a product is considered a hazardous product by WHMIS legislation, an employer must;

  • Ensure all hazardous products are identified, labeled, and made available in the workplace
  • Provide current SDSs
  • Train ALL employees in WHMIS 2015 (See below)
  • Provide workplace labels
  • Create Supplier Labels and SDSs for manufactured products
