Pictograms Include:

  1. Exploding Bomb – explosives, self-reactives, organic peroxides
  2. Flame – flammable, pyrophoric, self-heating, self-reactive and organic peroxides
  3. Exclamation Point – irritants (skin & eye), Skin sensitizers, acute toxicity, Narcotic effect, respiratory tract infections, specific target organ toxicity
  4. Gas Cylinder – gases under pressure
  5. Flame Over Circle – oxidizers
  6. Environmental – (non mandatory) aquatic toxicity
  7. Bio-hazardous Infection Material – organisms or toxins that can cause disease in people or animals
  8. Corrosion – skin corrosion/burns, serious eye damage, corrosive
  9. Health Hazards (exploding chest) – Carcinogen, Mutagenicity, reproductive toxicity, respirator sensitizer, target organ toxicity, aspiration toxicity.
  10. Skull & Crossbones – Acute toxicity (fatal or toxic)
