GHS does not replace WHMIS but changed our WHMIS.

Controlled products are now called “hazardous products”
New hazard classes and categories
Format has changed on items such as the supplier label
Standard language is used
In order to add GHS to WHMIS 2015, Canada amended the Hazardous Products Act and created Hazardous Products Regulations.
