Workers Responsibilities

When a product is considered a hazardous product by WHMIS legislation, a worker must;

• Report missing labels to their supervisors
• Know how / where to access MSDSs
• Comply with SDSs user instructions, and
• Comply with training, PPE, and all relevant regulations.

Remember to:

• Read the WHMIS label of the “hazardous product” you are going to use
• Tell your supervisor if a label is damaged or missing
• Do not use a product that is not labelled
• Ask your supervisor if you have any questions about any product
